When you accept an employment offer from PSI, our Talent Acquisition executive will introduce you to your Buddy. With considerable time spent in the organization, they know their way around! Your buddy will be in touch during your notice period with your last employer. He or she is your resource to use. If you’re relocating, help settle you in. Help meet folks that are important to you. And generally point you in the right direction.
On D-Day (well, actually it’s DOJ, i.e. date of joining), expect a warm welcome as a new member of the PSI family. You start the day with paperwork – e.g. PF, medical, insurance and opening a bank account. With your welcome kit in hand, you are now all set to join the brief Introduction Program. It’s a good idea to get to know everyone!
You next enjoy lunch with your new manager. Again, a good idea to get talking, and picking up the threads of a new life @ PSI. For example, bus routes, the next event of the Hobby Club you want to join, your new role, and so on.
Your Talent Acquisition executive drops you off at your workspace. She will introduce you around your (project) team. She plans ahead for your seating, computer, email account, telephone lines, etc. but you may want to look around, and let her know if you need anything.
Now that you are a PSIan, here’s wishing you exciting times ahead and an enjoyable career with us. |
